Happy Thanksgiving!  I am back from San Diego and the National Association of Schools of Music annual meeting.   I have to tell you that the weather was extremely nice, although I was in meetings most of the time and didn't get to take proper advantage of it.  Tuesday morning I had a little time to kill, so I went for a walk along the bay, and I saw two sea lions!  One was swimming, and the other was sitting on a dock, posing for everyone to admire.  Very cool!

I need longer days or longer weeks -- either one would be very helpful right now.

I really do enjoy my job -- I just wish there wasn't so much of it!

Things are slightly slower this week since I am done with recruiting trips.  Now it's time for the followup e-mails, calls, etc.

Symphony was good last weekend -- I had a blast, blowing as loud as I could and still keeping a good sound!

I feel like George Jetson at the end of the show when he gets caught on the treadmill.  I expect that to change in a week -- one more recruiting trip, and then I can shift more of my time into getting caught up, if there is such a thing!
